Public bug reported:
Power on an IBM t60p laptop with no wire in the incoming ethernet port
and gutsy tribe 5 in the cd drive. When ubuntu comes up go to the
Network Manager menu and select "manual configuration." Wired ethernet
adapter does not appear in dialog.
