Bryan, just to clarify, is this an issue with suspend or hibernate?
As well, could you please test the latest mainline kernel via 3.19-rc1
and advise to the results?

No change with regression. I ended up having to open the box and reset
cmos by removal of the battery for a short period of time. This seems
to have corrected the fault at this time..
