Hey,
I also have this problem with my HP Stream 11.
Happy to help out in anyway.
Basically the touchpad works, but it seems to stop working after using
the keyboard, or clicking/tapping.. yet the cursor still can move about
no matter what. Changing the settings in the system control panel does

I updated the BIOS, but the problem still occurs after a few minutes of

I am having the exact same issue with my HP Stream 11's clickpad in
Lubuntu 14.10. Cursor movement acts fine until I attempt or accidentally
click the clickpad at which point no mouse clicks from any source will
work properly (it triggers a click but only from the point where the
