I'm trying to use my Sansa e250 player in Lucid alpha 3. It currently detects the player correctly (where in Karmic it would print an error), but it only displays a small number of songs (about 20) from the player in rhythmbox, and it doesn't play any of the songs, or upload songs to the player. H

One other thing that may be coming into play here. I think that the Cowon D2 may be very sensitive to a slight USB undervoltage. I think D2 is an Universal Mass Storage device (UMS for short). It does have an MTP mode too if you need it. Having said that the UMS mode is probably clashing with the MTP mode. You might have to do some foo to disable the ums if you want mtp. Same thing happens with sansa devices. I've seen some
