This is certainly no bug in Firefox since proxy settings are generally
freely accessible as far as I know. Seems to me to be more of a
limitation of dansguardian, not necessarily a bug there either, though.
I'm therefore closing this. It might be helpful if you get into contact

This sounds more like a limitation of dansguardian than Firefox.
Normally a local user doesn't need to stop themselves from adjusting
their own proxy settings. (Unless I have misunderstood this bug.)
