Thanks for reporting this bug. This appears to be fixed in a newer
version of the dynare package in Ubuntu 15.10. The error in this
installation is due to a missing dependency on "libmatio-dev". If you
run the following
sudo apt-get install -y libmatio-dev
sudo apt-get install -f
