I get the same behavior on Ubuntu Gutsy, with the 2.6.22-14 kernel.
Tested with kernel 2.6.24-1-generic - resume from suspend works, but wi-fi
doesn't at all.

I assume this was still an issue after the official 7.10 Gusty Gibbon
release which had the 2.6.22-14 kernel?
The Hardy Heron kernel was recently uploaded for testing. We'd really
appreciate it if you could try testing with this newer kernel and verify
if this issue still exists. Unfortunately,
I get the same behaviour on Kubuntu Gutsy 64 bit version, with the
latest 2.6.22-13 kernel.
