I just received a notice, that this bug has been declared invalid. If
this is invalid as a bug... PROVE it and give me back my Unity.
I have been fighting this bug ever since I bought the laptop and no
resolution has ever been provided.

now working, I know not what was done to make it so but the laptop is

This problem happens on a laptop with AMD E2 processor and video, it
did not happen on desktops with Intel processors.
Therefore the direction for resolvig this should look at what id
different in AMD from Intel.
