for compiz-fusion
search shows:

Any news on this? We need at least a small set of themes, starting with
an Ubuntu one. I installed a MacOSX theme a while back, and now that I'm
tired of it, don't have any default or Ubuntu theme to go back to!

Same problem as Moobert. I am able to checkout the beryl repository
with:
svn checkout http://svn.beryl-project.org/beryl
from the command line.
What might be setting the svn location, the only place I can find seems
to be the binary:
/usr/bin/emerald-theme-manager

Running the emerald-theme-manager from the terminal and trying to fetch the gpl
themes (with subversion installed) I get this error:
svn: Can't connect to host 'svn.beryl-project.org': Connection refused
So it looks like the beryl project is no longer running its svn in that
location.

Sorry for sounding smartass, but I can apparently fetch themes without
having to install emerald-theme-pack in Gutsy. Installing SVN made it
work. I, however, have a theory:

The emerald-theme-pack package just installed some default themes for
use in Emerald. However, in order to fetch themes from the emerald
repository via emerald-theme-manager you need to install Subversion. I
