As the bug watch update said a new version of angband has been uploaded
to Debian. angband 1:3.5.1-2 has been synced and is currently waiting in
Ubuntu Vivid Proposed, but it looks like it failed to build on ppc64el.

Thanks for reporting this issue.
I found an upstream bug report talking about packaging the latest
version in Debian, so I have attached a bug watch. Looks like there was
some work done on this, though unfortunately not recently.
