Oh, and I solved that by unplugging the keyboard before launching the
game, and plugging it in later.

There's another problem with this bug. The Nexuiz recognized my KEYBOARD
as joystick with 37 axis and 37 buttons, setting those 2 values helped
only on 1st launch, the second launch of the game they didn't affect
anything, and the spinning continued.

This is a known problem if a steering wheel or joystick is attached.
Either detach those devices, or use:
set joystick 0
set joy_enable 0
