Public bug reported:

The `php5-fpm` process which is started during installation with `apt-
get` never returns and constantly uses 100 % of one CPU. There's no log
file `/var/log/php5-fpm`. After killing the process (after ~30 minutes
without any feedback) the `dpkg` installation routine fails with `E:
Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)`.
