Public bug reported: Hi,
Over the years, I have added quite a number of PPAs to my repositories for a number of packages I use regularly. However, as I prefer most of the time to use the packages from the Ubuntu repositories, I keep most PPAs disabled, unless there is a specific reason for using the version from the PPA. Could you please consider adding some way of sorting to the view displaying the list of the "Other Repositories"? As the sorting key, I would suggest to use the comment that the user can add to each source. This way, the user also has control over the order in which the repositories are displayed. As a fallback for repositories without comment, the address of the repository might be used. However, the list of the repositories with a comment should not be mixed with those without a comment. The repositories without comment might be displayed under the list of repositories with a comment. In fact, I assume that the user will add a comment to the repositories important to him; thus, it might be good displaying these at the top. Finally, I tried to look for the upstream location of this package to file this bug; but I was not able to find it. If this is not the right place for this bug, please let me know.
