I'm on Vivid-proposed channel, which was updated to 15.10 Willy (Ubuntu
15.10 (r218) ). On 15.04 this bug disappear a month ago.
I don't like stability :) On RTM, my friend says brightness works well
too (BQ).

It's very sensible! But it's working at it should... Maybe if there was
a way to react less to brightness change?
Imagine, if you move your phone the light will change and BQ does that
quiet well, it changes imediatly... which sucks because it's always
changing brightness...
So, in my opinion, it

Maybe your hand is momentarily blocking the light? If so, maybe the
automatic brightness code should wait for any dimming to (a) persist for
longer (e.g. 4 seconds) or (b) to be less volatile (e.g. turning off a
light switch results in less-volatile dimming than moving your hand over
the phone does
