The game flickers and outputs to console:
Tessellation Error: gluTessBeginContour() must precede a gluTessEndContour()
Tessellation Error: gluTessEndContour() must follow a gluTessBeginContour()
The output about Tessellation Error can be ignored. This does not impair
the game.

Hello and thanks for your report. I can confirm your report. Sorry for
the inconvenience. You can also fix this issue by installing the ttf-
dejavu package which provides the correct symlinks.
