Public bug reported: This has been seen by me and also confirmed by a Bq owner. Switching languages, at least string "No photos taken today" is kept shown in English possibly for days after the language switch. Only when eg. a photo is taken, and then the next day a photo isn't taken, the "No photos taken today" is shown as translated.
I'm assuming some sort of passing of the string is done and the _("") is not called again appropriately but the string instead is kept as is stored somewhere. ** Affects: unity8 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1422689 Title: Cached (?) lock screen messages not translated To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity8/+bug/1422689/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
