Public bug reported: There are a couple of issues with m_ldapauth's handling of password="$USER:$PASS" (2.0.17-2 and still in 2.0.18. I didn't look at 2.0.5)
1) When it does the second ldapsearch, it asks for '$USER' rather than '$ATTRIBUTE=$USER' as in the first search 2) if the first search matches, then the password is not separated. lamont ** Affects: inspircd (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1428209 Title: ldapauth module does not handle user:pass format correctly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/inspircd/+bug/1428209/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
