Public bug reported: Running kernel on Ubuntu 14.04.2.
At random times, (especially when touching the touchpad after not touching it for a period of time), the display goes black ! Using QHD display resolution : 3200x1800 More information about hardware can be found here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1434963 Otherwise 14.04.2 runs fine / perfectly on this brand-new machine. It also seems to happen after the system had been successfully recovered from suspending. Also, it one time, just wanted to switch on to resume, and the whole display went 'disco', meaning, it was flashing wildly, recovery impossible...
