Having same issue with Lenovo G50-45 AMD A8 notebook.

Kind of stuck on this error from dmesg:

Can you try this kernel and see if it allows the wireless device to
work? We may have an issue with the firmware, which is being worked on
upstream.

I also tested the latest 4.0 kernel per jsalisbury and while there was
an additonal PCI ID listed in the kernel module, the device in this
laptop was not.
