I'm still seeing this on my original 800MHz iBook G4, running 9.10. The Live CD I ran and installed from was Xubuntu, I don't know how much of a difference that makes. Close the lid, the sleep light comes on after a while, but upon opening the lid again the machine turns off totally. -- sleep on
