OK, it all seems to be working much better in 0.6.6. Also, when I added another file type to the ignore list, Tracker told me I needed to reindex and offered to do it for me - very nice. Performance seems to have improved a lot over the last couple of releases (although that could be other changes

I agree - this should be labelled a 'bug' and not a 'wishlist'. If I add my 'Music' folder to the ignore list, I don't expect or want to see music files still appearing in searches. I would expect that folders and files added to the ignore lists, would be purged from the index. -- ignored paths
