I'm writing to echo my own wish to see this bug fixed. I tried every
common ctrl-alt-del alternate I've ever used (to no avail) and never,
ever would have thought to try F8 to bring up a menu.
A simple fix would be to display a note somewhere on the main tsclient
UI mentioning "Press F8 to bring
I had the same problem. Even the manpage of tsclient does not reflect
that info. Which would make a lot of sense in my eyes.

Hi
Yes, you're right I should have remembered that . But thats the point;
is it really ok to say its an invalid 'bug' or issue if after 10 years
of using Linux, that even I forget which function button to press? Its
certainly not obvious - and never would be to a newbie either.
Perhaps it should
In the vnc window, press F8 and click on : send ctrl alt del
** Changed in: tsclient (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Invalid

I worked around this by remapping Ctrl-Alt-Del in Ubuntu by using
System-Preferences-> Keyboard Shortcuts- then disabling the entry for
Ctrl-Alt-Delete
But this wouldn't necessarily be obvious to a newbie, and does remove an
important part of a std Linux OS.
