Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: fast-user-switch-applet

I have 3 users on my laptop, two of the "user" group. When I use the
fast-user-switch-applet to switch between them, the mouse stops moving.
It's just in the middle of the screen, not moving. I have to somehow go
out in the GDM login screen to get the mouse working again. This is a
laptop btw and my synaptics section on xorg.conf looks like this:

Section "InputDevice"
  Identifier "Synaptics"
  Driver "synaptics"
  Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice"
  Option "Protocol" "auto-dev"
  Option "LeftEdge" "1700"
  Option "RightEdge" "5300"
  Option "TopEdge" "1700"
  Option "BottomEdge" "10000"
  Option "FingerLow" "25"
  Option "FingerHigh" "30"
   Option MaxTapTime "0"
  Option "MaxTapMove" "220"
  Option "VertScrollDelta" "100"
  Option "MinSpeed" "0.06"
  Option "MaxSpeed" "0.12"
  Option "AccelFactor" "0.0010"
  Option "Emulate3Buttons" "yes"
  Option "SHMConfig" "on"
EndSection
