Public bug reported:

I'm running Ubuntu 15.04, but this problem happened in Ubuntu 14.10 too,
AFAIK.

The problem does not happen on Ubuntu 14.04.

Using the US (international, with dead keys) keyboard layout, I should
be able to write é by pressing the single quote ( ' ) key, after that,
the e key.

Whenever I do this in Ubuntu 15.04, the 'dead' key is not dead; instead
it immediately prints the ´ sign. That means that when I try to write é,
I'll get: ´e.

This happens for other letter combinations, too, for instance: ´o, ´a,
¨e, ¨u.

I found out that I can type é by pressing AltGr + e, but I'd rather have
the dead keys working again.

I found this bug hard to report using ubuntu-bug or apport-bug, so let me know
if I can help you by running some commands.
