Public bug reported:
When running aptitude, gnome-app-install or synaptic on the live cd of gutsy
beta (and a few daily builds before that), these applications freeze when
trying to read the package list. Happens also with the firefox plugin manager.
This occurs every time to both the 32 and 64 bit versions.
