If it is not possible to have it in Hardy, think that medibuntu.org may
be able to host the package on their repository. It would be quite
logical, because you can find a lot of restricted stuff on their repo
that are not in standard ubuntu for legal reasons or packaging lack.

If you want the package, it is built for i386 and amd64 in my PPA [0].
The 1.0.15 version has been uploaded for Hardy, whilst Gutsy still has
1.0.14rc4. For some reason, the PPA has put the Gutsy version in
Multiverse, which is correct, but the Hardy version in Main. I'm
uploading a new Hardy versi
Be careful, it is packaged only for i386. Can someone package it for
amd64 ?

The Ubuntu Studio team have the .deb package.
MMA, is it possible to have the alsa-firmware.deb file being
downloadable on the ubuntustudio.org website ? otherwise I will put it
on one of my website, I think.
