Public bug reported: I am just installing Ubuntu 15.04.2 (amd64) in parallel on a Dell computer. The computer has a Dell-whatevertool-partition (primary) and two more primary System partitions used by Windows 7. When I selected the default option to install Ubuntu in parallel, I got the "Error!!!" (3 exclamation marks?!) "unable to satisfy all constraints on the partition", though there was already enough free space at the end of the disk. I had to go the manual way, creating an extended partition etc. which then worked smoothly.
This could, however, be a showstopper for a less experienced user. ** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1474855 Title: Error "Unable to satisfy all constraints on the partition" with three primary Windows partitions To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1474855/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
