Ubuntu Touch OTA-10 had a couple of input and graphics regressions
causing jerkiness compared to OTA-9. The fixes for those are not
released yet, but coming in OTA-11 soon.

What do you mean by "grid view"? The only views I have available after
latest update are Recent, Artists, Albums, Genres, Songs and Playlists.
And the problem still exists.

Note that, for the song list with the same collection, things are nice
and smooth. Feels almost as if somewhere, a linear search is being done
over the entire artist list or some such.

Please note that the CardView is a custom component, and does not
destroy the cards once they are out of view, hence the smoothness you
will then get. We are migrating to use the GridView, which destroys the
cards out of view, as this will help with memory usage, performance in
general and allow
