This bug used to happen to me too in 15.10. Now I am using 16.04 and it is very stable (never happen in 16.04 so far). However, today I was installing IBM SPSS 14-week trial version and x-org crashed. (The bug report was sent automatically). X-org was crashing every time I tried to install SPSS.
