1. Exact HW
cat /var/lib/acpi-support/system-product-name
2. Does these two command (if run from Konsole) change brightness
properly on your laptop?
dcop `dcop | grep power-manager` power-manager brightnessUp
dcop `dcop | grep
attached is the output of system-product-name
Yes, those commands run directly will bring the brightness up and down.
Yes, the keycodes do match. Seems like the keys just haven't been
bound..
