Accepted gst-plugins-base1.0 into trusty-proposed. The package will
build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gst-
plugins-base1.0/1.2.4-1~ubuntu2 in a few hours, and then in the
-proposed repository.
Please help us by testing

Not sure why I can't add any version information in the meta info of
this bug, but:
This problem only persists in Trusty Tahr (14.04.x) with gst-plugins-base 1.2.x.
All other supported Ubuntu releases already ship a fixed version of
gst-plugins-base.
