Public bug reported: A boot up gfx regression (blank display) has been identified on a machine being certified caused by the recent addition of DDI-E support (VGA out). One patch of the series was still being debated at the time of the SRU cutoff date, but got included because it was on the set of commits that got tested on a number of systems. We can revert the current patch and revisit it later once upstream has a proper solution for it.
