I can confirm that this is reproducible with compiz enabled.
Changing task from firefox to compiz.
No interesting message found in .xsession-errors or Xorg.0.log

frankly i havent tried it with RC1 so maybe the issue is fixed there, im

Did you test with another browser (Konqueror, epiphany, opera, ...) ?
Is this the only website where this problem occurs ?

my last comment is a reproduction of the bug, as i mentioned the bug occurs
( in Firefox 3 also ) on Hebrew sites, as the screenshot ive posted shows.
My guess is that the bug is caused because of the right-to-left nature of
the Hebrew ( could be checked on arabic sites also ).
