Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager
I have a wired LAN connection on my Gutsy test machine. If I leave /etc/network/interfaces in the default state, with the eth0 line commented out, letting NM manage the connection, I get an IP and DNS's from the router, I can ping the router but nothing else on my network and can't access the internet. If I uncomment the eth0 line, preventing NM from managing eth0, everything works properly. I am unsure what further information will help. ** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [Gutsy] Network Manager - no internet connectivity https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/149187 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
