Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported should be reproducible with
the live environment of the Desktop CD development release - Maverick
Meerkat. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can
work on getting it
@Kamus, not yet. I don't have ubuntu handy right now, I've been testing
other distros in preparation for alternatives to Lucid, which is heading
a direction which does not look good. It may take a few days to clear
up some space on a spare machine.

@Lars, is this problem still affecting you? because ubuntu Karmic is
latest stable release, anyway, Have you tried to reproduce this issue in
a fresh installation of Karmic?

Hard to test this in 9.10b. When I go to the menu editor for the
K-menu, the process does not respond and eventually KDE asks if it
should be terminated.
The window "KDE Menu Editor" is not responding.
It belongs to the application kmenuedit (Process ID = 12191, hostname =
localhost)
We are closing this bug report because it lacks the information we need
to investigate the problem, as described in the previous comments.

I cannot try with the "latest" ubuntu release for at least a few weeks.
I will possibly be able to try sooner on the latest "gutsy" which is the
most recent *working* version of ubuntu.
Here is where the time allocated for that went during this last window of
