Yes, I am aware of the ALT CD. We cannot use it, as it is MUCH too slow.
Because the alt cd installs each deb package individually, the
installation takes much longer. The live CD is just a filecopy of the
already-installed files, so it is way faster.
We actually used ALT CD for our first iteratio
Are you aware that there is another installer available which is text-
based and also supports automation?
This installer is used on the "alternate" CDs, is also available on the
DVDs, and uses the debian-installer UI.
