Public bug reported: Choosing "Screen and Graphics" from menu does not launch the program. Instead, a bubble reporting a application crash comes up.
Trying to start it from the terminal gives the following error: $ sudo displayconfig-gtk [sudo] password for amit: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/displayconfig-gtk", line 75, in <module> app = DisplayConfig(options) File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/displayconfiggtk/DisplayConfig.py", line 190, in __init__ debug_scan_pci_filename=self.options.pcitable) File "/var/lib/python-support/python2.5/displayconfigabstraction.py", line 306, in __init__ xorg_unused_device_sections.remove(device_section) ValueError: list.remove(x): x not in list So basically, Screen and Graphics does not _ever_ start for me now. ** Affects: displayconfig-gtk (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- crash https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/149612 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
