I think you might want to be careful about how you include those
additional Perl modules. IIRC, they're actually located and maintained
on CPAN (http://www.cpan.org), the single largest repository of Perl
modules. I don't know what standard Debian and/or Ubuntu practice is
for including code from

contain a few pre-requisites for the package (perl modes that aren't in
Debian already).
I might work on this package, as it would teach me some more about the
packaging system, and it looks interesting :)
