Yes I installed the package from Debian without problems and it works as
expected.
I already downloaded three subtitles one Polish and one English so the
recently added (in 0.1.8) support for backup language also works.
Here are upstream changelogs for all the newer versions starting with
0.1.6-r

It's fairly close to the release of Wily, but it might be possible to
sync this before then. I've subscribed the ubuntu-release team so that
