I encountered that this issue has something to do with the ordering of
network devices.
Sometimes the order of the network devices is not the same as for what
my configuration is written for.
In this case eth1 becomes eth0 and this is why my network does not work
anymore.

The error message is:
ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): eth1: link is not ready
I did encounter this now also on a clean boot. If I do a suspend to
disk, it seems to "fix" this.
