The build logs suggests it's correctly build with gcc-5 (not alike llvm 3.4),

"checking for x86_64-linux-gnu-clang... gcc-5"
Are you sure it's still an issue in wily?
** Change
Debian has fixed this in testing already with a slightly different
patch.
P.S. i don't know why this does not compile on the buildserver for i386

Thank you for your bug report. it seems like the change could apply to
Debian as well, could you report the bug to the Debian BTS as well?

Matthias: Thanks for the SO link, hopefully they will resolve the issue
soon. For me, it is not critical to compile with clang for now, so I'll
wait until this is sorted.

You
Matthias: I tried the patched version from your repository, but it did
not fix my issue. I still get the same error (multiple times) as before:
undefined reference to `clang::NamedDecl::getQualifiedNameAsString()
const'
This is using clang 3.7 to compile an application that itself uses
libclang3.
As posted on
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/llvm-toolchain-3.4/+bug/1501300
the patch only compiles on x64 it seems the x86 build-process run out of time.
the x86 works fine for me.
@maintainer: is there a way to enforce a longer timeout on launchpad
