Ah sorry. Ubuntu still have pcsc-lite 1.4.102 but the latest upstream is
1.5.3.
I guess you are using pcsc-lite 1.4.99 from hardy. Do you also have the
problem in Ubuntu 8.10 or 9.04?

This is a known problem with hotplug used by pcscd in Ubunut 7.10
Do you still have the problem with Ubuntu 8.04?
