Public bug reported:

Description: Ubuntu 15.10
Release: 15.10

gparted:
  Installed: 0.19.0-3build1
  Candidate: 0.19.0-3build1
  Version table:
 *** 0.19.0-3build1 0
        500 http://ftp.acc.umu.se/ubuntu/ wily/main amd64 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

parted:
  Installed: 3.2-7ubuntu1
  Candidate: 3.2-7ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 3.2-7ubuntu1 0
        500 http://ftp.acc.umu.se/ubuntu/ wily/main amd64 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

I expected gparted to see that parted is installed and then proceed with
the recovery process.

I have checked with sudo apt-get install parted that parted is
installed.

Still, when I open gparted either from the dash or by using the terminal
I get a message that parted is missing even thou I just checked that it
IS installed.
