Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnash

Hi!

~/.xsession-errors size explosion is a common problem, with no obvious
solution currently ("logout often" doesn't cut it; nor does "use the
unstable release to reboot a new kernel every two days". Not on
production machines anyway).

So perhaps an intermediate solution would be, well, perhaps not to shoot
the messengers, but at least to have them not spit out every details of
what they saw.

Gnash is a good example of this: I just logged out because of a 8 GiB
.xsession-errors, and it was soon back to 336M thanks to a silly Web
page :)

Most Gnome and KDE applications are also inanely verbose. Should bugs be
filled against them?

Thanks,

Yves
