The natsemi ethernet card is built into the laptop motherboard. It would be hard for me to remove it =) It is able to hibernate and resume though (with the card attached, of course). But after resuming, instead of displaying the X server, it displays the kernel dump in the screen, and of course

It actually turns out that you're not using the fglrx driver that the other bug is about. (You're using 'ati'). So this must be a different bug. The first line of your dmesg dump is about the natsemi dp8381x driver, so it looks like there's an issue with that one in resuming. The line that start
