How is this possible? Intel video cards are best for Linux, aren't they?
Because all the drivers made by Intel, are open source and part of the
Linux kernel?

This is what it says after compiz --replace:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ compiz --replace
Checking for Xgl: not present.
Blacklisted PCIID '8086:2972' found
aborting and using fallback: /usr/bin/metacity
Apparently it misses something called Xgl. Strange, because Compiz did
function fine at first.
