Public bug reported: In Edubuntu 14.04.3 booting lasts extremely long (several minutes!). This may have to do with the support for mobile broadband modems (not for wifi, which is something entirely different).
So as per bug in260866 it takes a long time to reboot after pressing power button for restart . Please help to check the possibility of OS or kernel optimization to reduce booting time. ** Affects: qemu-kvm (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Assignee: Anish kumar (legendaks2012) Status: Confirmed ** Changed in: qemu-kvm (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed ** Changed in: qemu-kvm (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Anish kumar (legendaks2012) ** Changed in: qemu-kvm (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Incomplete ** Changed in: qemu-kvm (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1518370 Title: Bootp times takes longer To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qemu-kvm/+bug/1518370/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
