A workaround is to edit /var/lib/dpkg/status and bump the installed version number. For instance for vmware-player, I edited to: Version: 1:2.0.2-1~ppa5.0.1 Cedric, just move to something higher than that next version, please ;-) And thanks a lot for the packaging. Still it would be nice to
