Public bug reported: After installing NVIDIA Restricted Driver, Cloned output to external monitor on my Dell D820 does not work unless I run nvidia-settings and configure the external monitor (by default the external monitor is set to disable). This is such a trivial job and should be done on the fly as it has been done in the past (100.14.11 and previous worked just fine).
I've reporoduced this accross multiple distros and x versions including the most recent 7.3 To me, this is a deal breaker.. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- NVIDIA 100.14.19 No auto clone output laptop https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/152440 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
