Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evince
I'm presently running Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon Beta (Release Candidate), 64-bit. When I a PDF larger than 2 or 3 pages, the memory usage spikes, reaching close to 500MB before I close it down. I didn't have this problem when I had Feisty installed, which I believe used an earlier version of evince. I have noticed similar problems with other PDF readers.
